Okay so before you read this, take note that I don't care about loosing any value to the bike. I'm not fussed about killing it and I'm not fussed on the 'wasting' money part. I'm just seeing what I can get out of it, for it is a 125, + enduro. It currently does 70 to 75 on a good day, 65 to 70 on a normal day. I want to see if I can add 10 to 15 mph to it (maybe more, but probably not, I know!). So for the upgrades (ones I currently know of): Smaller sprocket on back, larger 1 on front (increase top end). TTR125 150cc Big Bore Kit (can fit it to XT125, apparently!). Put on a straight through (ditch the cat) and a better end can. K&N Filter and block off the…

Well, actually just one track. Is anyone out there able to tell me the name of the track at the end of Kung Pow: Enter the fist ??? (2002). It's a techno type track that's pretty cool. It's also used in the 2000 version of 'Get Carter' just before Carter (Sly Stallone) says 'you should finish what you started' and then beats up and (suggested although you don't see it) kills Eric in the disco. It's doing my nut it - anyone with the answer pleeeezeeeee Cheers - J

Hi All Well after 3 weeks of just looking at my XJ600, I passed my DAS today and was able to take it for a ride, did 125 miles this afternoon with a BIG grin on my face, will still have the grin on the way to work tomorrow, no more thrashing the life out of the XV125 and being overtaken by lorries up the A2, now that's hairy! At last ! I managed to get hold of an LC tank in fairly good nick . It's got some filler , scratches and small dents but no rust as far as I can see . I'll enjoy rubbing it back into shape and I'll get saving for a mitaka clutch kit and a set of gearbox bearings . I'm thinking yellow for the tank . Any one out there got any LC gear selector forks lying around ?? Two of mine are shagged .

Finally back on the road after nearly 4 months. I repaired all the damage and replaced the ignition myself as well with the help of a friend. The ignition was a nightmare to swap. It was held in by headless bolts.

Hello everyone, my name is Michael (no surprises there) I live in Northumberland, so I'm fairly spoiled for great riding roads and green lanes. I've been riding since the age of 15, both on road and off. I started with a Yam FS1SE 50cc 'Chicken Bike' moved up to a YB100 before passing my test on a borrowed RD80LC. After briefly owning a Suzuki X7 (monoshocked with a RD350LC rear end and then an RD350LC engine!) I eventually saw sense and acquired a brace of genuine 350 Elsies Absolutely fantastic bikes that introduced me to truly quick riding. An old friend of mine still has his from all those years ago, but I have thus far been disciplined enough not to ride it…

Hey there guys. After much deliberating and late nights with colour charts, I have finally picked the colour for my 1985 Yamaha FZ400. The first picture is how i got it, £70 off ebay. LOL. And the second is how it is now. Almost ready for MOT. I'm still havin trouble with the alternator. Its not charging the bike. Don't know how to go about it. Any ideas? Thanks for looking. Phil. Safe biking.

Took the bike up to the garage this morning and the gearbox is shagged. He said by the time they removed and split the engine it would be cheaper to put a new one in. I think this is it now, I'm going to carry on riding the bike until it doesn't work at all and then I am bikeless. I had some money saved for a 2T but I have just had my hours cut at work so I used most of that to pay off my credit card. Realistically it will be September when I have a few grand for a new bike, could go down the finance route but things are uncertain at work. On my way home the fucking kickstart fell off ffs. I could curl up in a ball and start crying.

On my home from work yesterday and I got took out. As I was exiting a roundabout some idiot has nudged into the back of my bike and knocked me down. I've then slid up the road (dual carriageway) into the kerb and then into the central reservation. The POS has hit and run. Meanwhile Im trapped under my bike in shock and dazed and every one just drives past bare in mind this is rush hour. Anyway I got the bike off me and got to my feet and slumped over the central reservation. Eventually a guy stopped and asked if I was ok etc.I asked him to pick my bike up as my hand and knee were totalled. So my knee is out of it. The muscle is exposed and the palm of my hand is rea…

At last we have some nice weather! It's been lovely this past two days, I have been able to go out and actually enjoy riding my bike. It has been a miserable year riding in the rain and snow and it has been a massive downer. The rain never seemed to stop.
