just hold the pulley fully turned when the engine is idling, you'll see the oil moving through the tube in pulses, travelling about 6mm each pulse. Forget about the pressurising idea...no need

regarding the cylinder sleeve nut Always use a 6 point socket on these aluminium nuts, never use a 12 point one so get the correct sized 6 point one, shove a strip of medium / coarse grit emery cloth into the socket and tap it down onto the nut...blowtorch the side of the nut to get a bit of heat into it and try again

  13. did you clean the cases in the dishwasher.?..Top Tip
  14. it sounds like the crankcase is flooded, turn off the gas, take out the sparkplug and spin the engine over to eject some of the fuel, than leave it overnight to evaporate off...that's what I'd do anyway. hey, first post all about a problem!...what no intro / hello?
  15. check someone hasn't put a 12v bulb in the headlight
  16. it should come on when the engine is idling albeit a bit dim...but nevertheless it should come on. is the battery new or how old is it?
  17. so did you check the switch is working? did you disconnect the wire from the switch and touch the engine casing or chassis bolt with the wire?...that would test the bulb/socket and may even point to a faulty switch
