  1. dont know the bike! is it a cable driven speedo from the front wheel hub?
  2. yeah, go down the proper channels woth any approval letters...or regret it later the only other option is to pick up a bare frame with a V5?
  3. is the sidestand made from a tube? If it is how about having a spacer slug tig welded into it to extend the length? another thought is... fit the battery in the other way round with a longer overflow tube so then the vent will be at the highest point when the bike is on the sidestand...is this possible?
  4. this thread is dead...Its a year old!
  5. yes you could do it that way paul, its just that your wheel bearings and seals will add a little drag whereas the 'contraption' wont have this...should be good enogh though on what is a 65mph (ish) bike
  6. see the part numbers..can you use google in Iran? http://www.ytcn.nl/archief/Archief/Yamaha%20Parts%20Manuals%20ALL%201950-1996/WR/WR200RD.PDF

  12. Hi Greg 1: Yes you only need the one coil on the stator plate, the others would have been for lights / battery charge etc 2: Yes the third wire would go the the ignition coil 3: A kill switch should ground out the small wire to the ignition coil, share the connection for the third wire as above 4: Use any coil you like either a new one or one from a small 2 stroke 6v machine 5: Thats a good plan, just check any numbers stamped on the two rotors match up 6 : yeah its before top dead centre, clymers goofed? Try googling 'Energy Transfer Ignition'
