Wheel Balance
yes you could do it that way paul, its just that your wheel bearings and seals will add a little drag whereas the 'contraption' wont have this...should be good enogh though on what is a 65mph (ish) bike

1971 Yamaha DT1 250 timing
Hi Greg 1: Yes you only need the one coil on the stator plate, the others would have been for lights / battery charge etc 2: Yes the third wire would go the the ignition coil 3: A kill switch should ground out the small wire to the ignition coil, share the connection for the third wire as above 4: Use any coil you like either a new one or one from a small 2 stroke 6v machine 5: Thats a good plan, just check any numbers stamped on the two rotors match up 6 : yeah its before top dead centre, clymers goofed? Try googling 'Energy Transfer Ignition'

2001 DTR125 oil problem
gaz i never had the case off mine so i'm no expert on the subject however, would it be possible to damage the water pump shaft by failing to align something on re-assembly, a gearwheel for example?

TomTom ONE v2 with Itinerary Planning
ttasky of course i know what the ONE and Rider are primarily designed for...thanks for pointing it out though you fail to see how the two relate eh?...try itinerary planning...thats what the thread is all about...thats my main interest in one, just like the Rider even the 'cheap' ONE v2 had itinerary and I reckon I could pick one up for £40 - £50 ish from ebay. You see the thing is...I dont want to pay lots of ££££'s for a feature I will seldom use...however actually having that feature would be great for events like the one mentioned post#1 so unless I see a Rider going for a great price probably stick with a ONE v2. But yeah i'll see what riders sell for too since they are a better unit with being waterproof and all that I was kinda hoping someone would have chipped in that they have used itinerary planning but hey ho maybe not then!
