to bleed the pump just remove the bleed screw, oil and bubbles will come out the hole...replace the screw when the bubbles stop

Greetings ausibatla and sorry to see you got off to a bad start fella but dont worry this isnt normally a place you'll get aggro from they're a friendly bunch as a rule I can see where you're coming from with the spoked wheels they look far better on this type of bike in my opinion.

I asked is it sparking?? when you fitted the new piston did you have the arrow towards the exhaust port direction? does the scoot have reed valves and are they ok?

" but now i hae just noticed that petrol is spitting out or the hole closest to the center or the bottom as you look at it from the air intake side"........ just doesnt make any sense, what are you saying here then? is it sparking?

Ahh just give it a rub with some wet/dry and fit this little badly listed beauty http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NOS-YAMAHA-DT1275-GENUINE-PISTON-0-25-/261107092166?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item3ccb320ac6 Seriously...It'l be cheaper than a rebore and pattern piston, the bore would have to be buggered to not give this due consideration IMO

If one is black thats a ground or chassis wire. The other probably feeds the headlight, does your headlight only work when the motor runs?

Slightly different mountings Andy, maybe with some cutting and welding...the earlier pipe sure is a good one I agree, the only downside is the weight but so what
