Stripped to the bone, air filter disintegrated after 39 years, [ lots of original bolts & rubbers ] loom complete , head bearings were dry paste, but seats are unmarked , [ new balls & grease] as taper bearings are too tall, and the headlamp shrouds end up loose,] Gonna paint frame, not a fan of powder coat, .

Talking of fuel. drewps, last weekend , we did a classic run , I had Tiger1050, running with the old britts, we fuelled up after 75mls. [wasn't needing. ] but just to see milage, I took 4.65 litres , they took Samish , 70+ mpg, unbelievable,, steady 50/55/60mph,

Yeh, my dt400. had 3 stripped cylinder sleeve nuts, . I drilled down thru them , [ 6mm/ 8mm/10mm/ 16mm bits] made a puller and dragged the barrel off, Heres the puller.
