yes mate its your clutch slipping to stop u losing traction. it makes a popping noise if its not to excessive if its a massive drop then its makes a whizzing noise with popping. its hard to explain but it saves your arse if you are going for it.

well im a freedom of speech kinda person. this government of ours has taken away alot of our rights and we live in a so called free country. i personally feel that someone should at any age be able to ride what they want or drive what they want for that matter. if you hold a golden ticket that says at 17 you can ride a 600cc restricted to 33bhp then so be it. how many laws are passed in this country that you actually agree with? classic example that gets me every time woud be the dangerous dogs act. one word for you pit-bull..... yeah scary dog eh? no it depends how it was raised. i could train a nice lab or dalmation to kill someone dosnt mean the breed is bad.

i use and will stick to 98 or higher. wouldnt run 95 if my life depended on it.
  7. could just try reconnecting the battery. if they have followed the international shipping laws the bike isnt allowed to be shipped LIVE so to speak. normally the possitive side is disconnected.
  8. set of step ladders and a ratchet strap arounf the bars works a treat

youve been told aload of tosh fella. the bike will run on 98 fine. the air to fuel mix dosnt change when you use different petrol. the higher the ron the less chance of pinking occuring. if your spanking the bike alot 98 is the way to go. mixed. not riding like aloon tho.

fella drain all the oil out and fill with the correct amount. cant remember off the top of my head but use the dip stick to get it spot on. to much oil in a 4t is bad news. as for your problem sounds like the sensor has died. but it could be a loose wire.
  12. check other thread.

michelin pilot spots or the others with the dual compounds are my faves. nice hard compound down the middle for commuting and a softer grippy outer edge for cornering. wet handling is as good as many others in the dry and dry handling well lets say you will wimp out before the tyre give up.

pop to your local bike supply shop and buy some fuel additive. waynes do it, cant remember the exact name but it stops carb icing. On a side not be careful, if your bike suffers carb icing at high speed the throttle locks open lol

the ladies like to know your measurements.... me personally i'll say hi and what you riding, n i dont mean your misses
  22. you have to take your cbt to ride anything with 2 wheels fella. simple as that
  23. gav2k replied to TeamBPR's post in a topic in General
set it to 0 ride the bike and get used to it. if you exp head shake then dial it up. 4-6 for every day is what i found comfortable, 12-18 for motorways takes the work out of riding in high winds etc.

soz never ment to put direct access. fingers were typing brain was watching telly. ment just your full test. but would be restricted for 2 years or until you hit 21 whichever is sooner. NOTE - the bike test setup changes sept 2008. your no longer going to be able to pass and ride anything!
