got the parts finally, was pretty quick compared to some places though! Quick question on the timing cover bolt, is there a specific torque strength I need to set it too I don't want to break this one!

Yep I've emailed them as one of the allan bolts looked really chewed up saying I wanted to get a refund, explaining about the Shin Yo's exact match. Not had a response yet from 9am this morning. If I don't hear anything I'll send em back recorded and speak to CC company.

Looks like they get someone else to make it cheaper and then stick their sticker on... Email below from motolux or HH Info Motolux [email protected] (sent by [email protected]) 7:46 AM (42 minutes ago) to me Good Morning, You have two stickers, we buy these parts in ourselfs and add the HH sticker to the package. rgds, Michael. Not happy about that I could have got them for half the price had I known lol Im probably not going to be buying any highway hawk stuff again.

Got them from Customized Choppers. Com prod paid 28 per mirror I think. Seen those Shin Yo ones a hell of alot cheaper though lol The only explanation I can think of is that Shin Yo make the mirrors but also sell them on their brand too?? To say slightly confused is an understatement lol Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk

Hi Guys! Has anyone bought any Highway Hawk kit recently? I just got my mirrors through and the packaging looks suspect has another "copy" makes brand in it. Shin Yo. as well as stickers. Does anyone know if they work together on this stuff? or they are the same brand? Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. The weather doesn't help! I can't seem to get it of and I'm not a massive fan of the chrome anyways. Have you thought about getting it powder coated or painted? Don't even know if that would even be cheaper than re-chroming. Sent from my GT-I9305 using Tapatalk
  17. I've seen them cheap (£200 cheap!!) on http://www.motorcycle-superstore.co.uk/6983/i/vance---hines-shortshots-staggered-exhaust-system so very tempted to buy them now, I think the wife my kill me though! haha
  18. Nice, you'll have to let me know how it rides. Thinking of this as my next bike! What colour did you go for?

I like the black bit not sure on the flame arms, want to keep it simple was thinking basically the same as the standard ones with slightly smaller mirrors and in black. possibly shorter stems if I'm putting them underneath the handlebar.
  21. GrumGrum replied to GrumGrum's post in a topic in Yamaha Customs
Haha yer along with the black exhaust I'm searching for. I think I have found some with a conversion bolts slightly confusing lol but I'm sure ill get there.

Lorry took out the left hand one they were quite bad anyways with pitting and rust on the arms. decided id like something like the under handlebar ones but havent seen any, what does everyone else have or recommend? not a massive fan of the chrome though.
