What a dumb arse
Dropped the bike off for a service and MOT early this morning with to intention of walking into town and getting some breakfast then do a bit of shopping, while standing there in the shopping mall trying to decide which of the many food bars to use I'm patting down my pockets looking for my wallet, bollocks it wasn't there, I'd left it at home on the kitchen worktop. So instead of a nice unhealthy breakfast I had an hour's walk home in my full kit and ended up with fucking weetabix.

Saddle sore
First thing I did was fit a back rest for that very reason, I also did look at mustang seats but found them to be a bit pricey, maybe I should look at them again.

Too right dewps much too old for that, couldn't even race it to the next cafe without doing my back in.Was never into cafe racers but the old boy that owns it obviously was and still is.

Saddle sore
must admit when I had my Virago I never had a problem but the seat on my midnight star does seem to be a lot harder

Saddle sore
Spent the day out on my bike today, did about 260 miles which for me is a lot as I usually only do 50 or 60 miles at a time, maybe I'm just getting old or perhaps its my skinny arse that's got no padding on it but even with my big kickarse seat on my bike my arse is suffering. How the hell did Bippo manage the iron butt challenge?

someone could have been killed
Spent the day out on my bike today had a brilliant time but I had a wake up call on my first leg of the jorney. Riding along the M25 and there were more police cars than I have had hot diners, at first I thought that they had heard that I was on the road but no several miles down the road the inside lane was shut off by dozens of police cars and it appeared that they had forced a car off the road onto the hard shoulder as it had been going the wrong way, it makes me shudder to think what could have happened.

Oldtimers grumpy old gits musical quiz.
Mike nothing wrong dwelling on 60's music, but then my older brother always had radio Caroline playing so I grew up with it. Know what you mean about melting pot, thankfully attitudes changed a lot during the 60's
