i bet it did on an 850! but on a 125? if you are old enough to get a bigger bike...do your bloody test and get something with some oommpphh. If you are stuck with a 125 for a couple of years MAYBE it would be worth considering an after market exhaust, for the tiny bit of extra power....but if that then pushes the bikes power over what you are allowed on L plates you're fucked. Personally i wouldn't bother unless the original exhaust has rotted and there isn't much difference in the price of an after market verses standard.

Not like it was a one on one thing where you could get out of the car and have a fair fight, maybe the other bikers wouldn't get involved. but do you really want to take that risk?

Not sure how i have missed these comments. Yeah no ticket or points! he said if he had a cam in the car i would have been fucked!..... after this incident i borrowed a satnav and turns out i was doing about 80-90 ooopps hahaha. Yeah i try and stay out of trouble as best i can....but they don't have much to do around here , so unless there are kids in town they can annoy, they just stop people and have a nosey around their car or whatever. You saying i could have fucked off through a field or something...funny thing is they thought i was going to! when i noticed they were behind me (i saw the reg' plates of parked car lighting up blue so i stop instantly and killed the engine, looked back at them and they were on NO hurry to get out of the car lol, the passenger slowly got out on the car and told me to get off the bike and put it on the stand......must have thought i was going to disappear into the darkness hahahaha I bet the WR is a bloody great fun! how are you finding riding about on off road tires man, especially on the 'black top'? and good luck with getting your gear together because i'm dying to know how you get on with the muddy stuff! Yeah like Tommy says top speed depends a lot on the size of the rider. As for the super low mileage, some people will ride their 125 every chance they get and spend all day out on it....others only use it to go back and forward to work or college, the miles may well be genuine. i think the first thing you should do is give it a service (oil change, check the state of the air and oil filters-if it has an oil filter? , lube the chain up, check the tire pressure is correct and check the spark plug is looking good- maybe some other members can suggest other things you should check). i wouldn't worry too much about the low miles, they may well be genuine. i have an 2005 125 and i think it's had like 8 owners including myself! People just use them as a way of getting used to two wheels before trying for their big bike test and others may only do about 5 miles to work and back. A lady in work bought a scooter and has had a little go around her street and has decided she don't like it...thats another owner added to the log book. Make sure you change the fucking oil and check the air filter.... these are important and might have been neglected. Hope this helps.
