  1. Just run the frame # through a dealer they can tell you quick. As far as parts 2002-10 same valves ,piston, gaskets, ect cams differ but any year will work,wr cams will give more bottom-mid power. Dosn't look like you have done much service to the bike you should check the valve clearence ASAP,if the bike has 100hrs since it's last topend rebuild it needs to be done and you wil be looking at a 1000.00 min if the cylinder needs replating then add 300. These are race eng and must be treated as such,, neglecting it will cost you LARGE to the tune of 3000.00 when a valve drops and they do break quite easy.
  2. When you removed the arm B did you resete the screw in the center of the nut, turn in till lightly bottomed and then back out 1/8th of a turn, then lock nut?
  3. Realy cryin ove a pair of golves, and you needed to post this why? Personaly I boycot all of Afghaistan .
  4. Ok from what I see is remove old adjuster from case, install new cable at eng end first with the adjuster turned in all the way into the case, then while the clutch arm is lifted up B in sachas pict slip the new cable in.

    ooops.

Lol grouch need a new pair...o DAM your bike is FN broken again..couldn't be you then
  6. My guess is that he has replaced the carbs from a different model and didn't change the cable retainer, hence the reason why both are too short. If I'm right about the carb swap and the cable is long enough to fit from carbs to throttle, then you might have to shorten the outer cable housing,or try and get the right cabel retainer. The carbs look wrong for a fz they should be black, but that may have been cleaned off at some time. If you carfully remove the end cap and un wind the outer steel housing it can be cut to lenght and slide the cap back into place without making the whole thing from scratch.
  7. O no bippo you won't,last year I went camping and 2 girls showed up in 2 cars packed full. They set up "camp" a 10x10 eating tent complete with tv,full size bbq, portable shower,2 full size coolers, a tent to sleep 10, half the cook wear from the kitchen. They even had a sink to wash dishes.generator to run the hair drier,blender..ect.. So I'm thinking OK the rest of the group must be comming light, mabey ridin in,or more cars packed with people,NOPE,just the 2 of them and all this for 3 days 2 nights. I shared my catch of the day (brook trout) and they fed me one of the best ceaser salads I ever had and margaritas. They spent most of the time cooking or changing clothes.Smashed drunk and laughing all the time. One of thoes times you wish you had brought a cammera I will say they were the best looking campers, looked just as fresh the day they left as they did when they showed up.
  8. What you will find is that #3 brng ,1 fits in the drive hub and 1 to the rim, you should consider doing 11 as well as the seals. It all has the same milage
  9. I watched the vid ,got love that, running again with so little work she didn`t even struggle
  10. Take a test light and see if the small wire has power at the solenoide while the start button in perssed, then check 30 for power at the relay all the time, 87(feed to selonide) when button is pressed 86 when button is pressed and 85 for ground. 30 feeds 87 when 86 is powerd by the button ( to close the relay)and grounded by 85 the ground,,85 or 86 can be intrupted by the side stand and netural switch via the cdi . 87--- 85I I30 86 I 87a I 85 or if it looks like this 87a I 30 I 87 I I 86 Bridging the solenoide is just like feeding the starter direct battery power so that proves nothing other than the starter is good. Useing a jump wire with the bike in nutral jump 30 to 87 the bike should turn over and start ,then that leaves 85 and 86 to sort out, Relay back in disconnect the side stand switch and see if it will start if not connect the 2 wires together and see if it will start,if still not disconnect the kill switch. Its just a process of elimination untill you find the problem. Hope this helps
  11. And a fifth of you fav antifreeze the human kind,no point of beenin cold wet and stone sober
  12. Install the cable and post a picture It's 100% possible the cable was packaged wrong,or they made the outer too long. Do you have the old 1 to compare inner and outer the lengths to eachother?
  13. Install it in the butterfly section first then into the cable stay,if it's still to short to allow the bf to close then you got the wrong cable.
  14. John just did his and as long as you don't run into the same problem of the bearing seperating leaving the outer race it's a easy job You need a long punch to drive the bearing out from the oppsite side, work around the bearing so it comes out straight/even. When installing use a socket the same size as the outer race,so not to dammage the seal
  15. Honestly I don't think anyone knows for sure you had enough views, try running the part #'s against eachother. As far as the parts you need try soniccycle.com 1-519-659-7833 the web site is crap so you have to actualy ask for what your looking for he has tons more than whats on the site.He has bins full of petcocks and probably the rest of what you need.
  16. You FN stole it ,the fuel was red from stabelizer, you probably won't even have to clean the carbs just run it for a while. It's got steel braided lines the rubber looks usable,so what do you need to buy other than a oil change, battery and mto it? My only real ??? is why did you need to think about buying it at all, when she offered it up you should have sprained your wrist from trin to get your wallet out so fast you will be up cash in pocket when you sell your 600. LUCKY SOB
  17. Your over thinking it .... just differrent . Read the diagram and all will be clear grass hopper The frames are way dif so parts got moved thats why. They did it cause they could O hope you don't mind a bit of harrasing now and then sick or not.
  18. Jon insted of buyin a puller buy a little mig welder it will comin way more handy.. As far as bearing go,leave the seal in untill the bearing feels silghtly rough, check it everytime you service the bike you will feel it in time, then rip out the seal ,grease it and order new and replace ASAP.if you keep the bike that long.
  19. LMFAO tent her next time....you know ...wait ..you know it's comming...wait.......sheets up over her head and let it rip She will love you even more sweetie good night
  20. Quick guess......... common ground. due to the location of both parts on the fz vs the fj.. so if it's a ground then yes it needs to be grounded.
  21. OK for laugh's would you be willing to,tell us every time it has something wrong/broken worn fast ect..? To do some sort of independent study? You allready have a list of thing's that went wrong,or as you said wasn't assembled right, lacked attention. Nothing like havin to check FB daily to see if your ride is safe. So bippo has a new(8 ish months old) 125 ybr and so far as I know she hasn't had any probs and riding daily. Also the other members have daily rides who could add input. We might have to wake up bippo to compare she hasn't been talking/ here for a while...but I bet you will be fixing yours while she is ridin. the same thing she bought and your daughter has a go cart . Again realy sorry for your loss of your ybr to some scum bag.
  22. Just glad our standards to meet the DOT are higher here, for the most part the chineese still can't build a bike good enough to pass and be road leagle here. But what can you expect for a bike that looks close but at 1/2 the priceof course they cut corners to make it. I just hope the rest of the bolts don't fall out and kill you,Because some Fn dick stole your YBR O ya check the welds every(,eps the rear shock mounts) so often I'v seen them snap too often on different chinese bikes
  23. Yep here in Canada too, someone said "when 1/3rd of the population figuers out that the other 2/3 will support them we are all fucked" something has to change. What I don't know but feeding generations to sit on thier ass is wrong. Why do recipents get raises when the working class hasn't seen a raise in 5 or more years or working for less paying more taxes and taking home less, but expected to smile and shut up.
  24. LOL realy Grouch? what you been smokin... follow the link ....it shows his new bike in the new security spot. Prety sad when it comes to havin to do that to keep your bike from dissapearing.Hopefull it works after all your hard work. I don't know what type of crap they make the hubs outa for them chinese bikes but I,v see lots broken like that. Well don't spend too much on it Arancara and good luck gettin through untill you can buy a real bike again.
  25. Parts 11 -12-13 for the starter,,,,, the kick check the part # for both bikes if it's the same part# then yes.I don't know what parts fit from other. NEV would have a much better idea. But it looks like it would
