A wee run down to Ayr today, albeit in the car as it was/is pissing down. A good mix of all makes of bike, even a superdream ffs. Anyway a few nice LCs, but I liked these two aircooled and the 400 version

Been through all the forums, eh. If you're thinking of staying with this forum after you get your answer, you may think of posting an intro in the new members section added to what noise says, ensure the tank filler cap is not blocked

Dylan wrote and recorded the song in 1967 and Hendrix released his version in 1968* *courtesy of wiki so may be a load of shit

Foams, Having never met you I can only go on your posts and sometimes they can be a bit, well.....bizarre (in a good way mate), but my eyes have been opened

Would we be thinking of Dylans 'all along the watchtower'

Hi I had a similar issue with my boys 535, and I had planned to remove the cover to clean it that way but prior to me doing that, the way I (accidently) cured his was by dropping out the starter motor (on an unrelated issue) and when I refitted it the oil level became clear to read. Didnt understand how that worked, but it did for his bike

A fantastic day up here today so me and the boy went away a run, nowhere in particular, just following the front wheel. I passed a wee slip road and remembered it was a decent wee 'B' road I 'discovered' last year. Some fab views and definitely made for bimbling

Cheers folks. As Drewpy says it was a blow to my professional pride (you don't like anyone telling you you're not good enough) but it was probs the best result for me. I know if I had to make the decision I would probably regret my choice either way. To make up for it I went on a wee 8 hour sail down round the isles of Cumbrae today

another Triumph owner, yeaa.......

Tommy I did a similar thing back in the day. Had 2 of my pals push me around a car park for about 10 minutes before I spotted the killswitch was off.......Discreetly switched it on before asking them for one more attempt. Poor cnuts were delighted when it fired up almost immediately

Interview today and just received a telephone call. (un)Fortunately I was unsuccessful on this occasion so now there is no need to stress out over a decision
