Dragstar Without wishing to sound too harsh, but your lack of knowledge / maintenance of a pretty much indestructible engine caused this dilemma. Bearing in mind you didn't know how much oil was in the engine, you knew it had an air leak so ran on choke to compensate instead of fixing the fault and the most basic piece of maintenance i.e. Chain adjustment , you ignored to the extend that it came off the sprocket and potentially wrecked your engine tells me that you should just concentrate on fixing the bike properly and look after it until you pass your test (if you haven't already) and never mind any big bore kits that others have advised may only cause you more hassle It may sound harsh but I dont mean to, just got you and your bikes best interest at heart

As above. If it dumped it's oil and you have not run it since then do as Cynic says. Also sort out your manifold so you dont end up holing a piston when you do get it running again. Check and adjust (if necessary) your chain every week. Keep on top of the small things that way you'll get a bond with the bike as well as noticing any issues before they bite you

Not just the noo, mate My first Bonnie was stolen in 1989 and I still get raging when I think about it. Even now if I found out who done it I would kick the fuck out of them, or go down fighting in the attempt

see the reply on your other post. Make sure you click on the 'direct' link on photobucket
-
When you click on reply to this topic you will see two rows of icons. On the top row you will see a smilie face emoticon, below that and to the left you will see the small picture frame icon (hover over it you'll see the word image). Click on that and post the direct link from photobucket
-
On this board once you have copied the photobucket code (direct link) click on the little 'picture frame' icon below the smilie. Paste the link in there and hey presto. For the avatar click on your name on the top right hand corner click on my profile, click on edit my profile. That will take you on to General Settings, click on change my picture

Having worked with dogs for 14yrs I have no reason to wonder...The dog is always the clever guy in the partnership
-
I had never used it until last night and probably wont again. Any unread thread show up a blue colour so I just click on them

Must be your settings matey, I tried it out there and came up no problem

Being an ex-dog handler, my pet hate is any owner that cannot control their dog. The biggest one being the clowns that get dragged along the road by their dogs. I feel like stopping my bike / car and taking the fugging dog of them

Hope that speedo was in KPH Matey

I believe that you could take the above postings and change the two names around (Brand and Hopkins, not pilninggas and captf) and they would be just as valid

Had never heard of her until about a week ago when she became extremely popular up here

Another way of looking at it is that by you bullying them in your 4x4, they then go and bully someone else, i.e. someone on a bike.....no?
-
Get the 3, then shift on the Honda. Not too much knowledge but I think the Honda 750/4 had chocolate cams, although it may have been the earlier models
-
I never owned any of those but I had a long term loan (about 9 months whilst my pal was serving a ban) of a Z1100 and had access to the z1000 ( my mate liked my auld Bonnie and would ask to use it on the occasional weekend, so I got his). Going on them I would go for the 1980 Z750. Is it the custom model (750Ltd) if so I would deffo go for that. I always liked the look of they models

Bad luck Laura, there are always some a**ehole around to keep you alert. As katie says speak to the cops or the council to check for any cameras. As long as you're Ok, that's the main thing
