The ghost page
I too work in a field which regularly deals with teriminal illness & death. I have found myself delivering care at many a beside of someone coming to the end of this life. I have to say that while I have the deepest respect for your viewpoint DirtyDT I completely disagree - seeing a dead body which was once animated by a personality that had memories, loves, fears, dreams etc etc always reinforces for me that we are so much more than mere biology. As a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association (http://www.bike.org.uk/cma/index.php) I can happily say that I have met many other bikers who believe in an afterlife (and a present one) that has a purpose ....... DirtyDT , I'll pass the collection plate to you first

The damn rain
So so true. I commute to work by bike so ride in pretty much all weathers. Riding in heavy rain really is the pits but do-able. It's the bloody idiots who practically sit on your exhaust that do my head in ..... they seem to come out in droves when it rains ????? I've also realised that anything short of a Royal Navey deep sea diving suit has its limits in rain if your riding long enough

Honda SH300 review
The costs involved in running the SH300 are impressive but if making sense was all that mattered I guess we'd never see chavs with their polo shirt collars turned up walking around city centres in their wee packs and intimidating others with their bum fluff beards ..... give me a m'bike any day

Scratches
Hi folks, I stupidly scratched the tank yesterday with my tank bag (think a small stone was caught between the bag and the tank). The scratches don't seem to be too deep. Can anyone advise from experience which products would best sort this out ? The bike is black in colour. Cheers Mal.

Top 100 theories
Seeing as biking gives you a unique perepective on life, I think we should have our own Top 100 theory list. Theory 1 - Rain is magnatised to tits. You can prove this (as I did on my daily commute today) when riding in the rain on any road where there are more than 2 cars about. You will quickly see that the rain draws out every bloody tit on the planet who was ever given a licence to drive a car and who clearly thinks that braking distances and the laws of physics don't apply to them

Hello I am new to biking. I am Considering of buying my first bike. I am interested in the yamaha ybr125. I live in Europe. But I have heard that th
to the site & world of biking. The ybr is a reliable & cheap to run 125. I first started on the Honda CG125 which is a sort of equivilent I guess so my preference would be for one of those - if I couldn't go for something a bit more up market & fun in the 125 range.

Open face helmet
C'mon the Mods.....looks great. Always thought my nose was too big for one of these though .... it''s easier pretending ur George Clooney in a full face helmet

Dishonest police
Assess each one as you find 'em, that's what I think - as you should do with any other human being. I have found over the years that bikers are a really decent bunch on the whole with a much higher than average camaraderie towards one another than many others. I'd hate someone to detest me based on the most superficial knowledge of me just as I'd have to take it on the chin if they formed a -ve opinion after I behave like a complete git. While it's totally right to get angry at unfair or nasty police officers I do think that a controlled anger on our part is a sign of true strength - any idiot can lose control. .... at least that's the theory !

fazer advice
The ticking noise (presumably when you turn the key) is simply the fuel as you say -perfectly normal. As for the rattle this can be caused by low revs in too high a gear but perhaps 2 Wheels can enlighten you better than I can! I rode mine before it was restricted and then for the 2 years following - sadly there is quite a discernable difference (esp in 4th and upwards) but better to be a good little law abiding citizen of course .......

Clunky gearbox indeed 2 Wheels ...... dropping down into 1st at the lights sounds roughly like a meteorite hitting the ground 2 feet behind you. Not exactly the smoothest sound when trying to impress at the lights

Favorite song ?
...... depends on how fast I'm riding (seriously)

fazer advice
This is what I'm on at the minute - great bike to be honest. I'd keep an eye on the downpipes as they're prone to rotting. I'd also look out for ...... em ........ can't think of any other problems I've had to be honest. Bit thirsty on fuel I suppose but otherwise a great all rounder. Good choice
