beats the days of sneaking into the techi department after school to machine up bits on the lathe's and mills - all supervised obvs...

as punishement i think the person responsible should be the one having to pick all the bikes up! Picked up my old mans ST1100 before, there is a technique to it - but they are still heavy lumps! and that was not even loaded

It was me that left that skid on my SV, came round the corner, decent speed and on my side of the road, to find a car coming toward me in the middle of the two lanes! wudnt have made the turn, so had to go infront,stomped the back brake - kinda panicked! did avoid the pole however, never got hit by the car, and never even ditched the bike - but the skid mark on my undies was about the same side! the wifey got a right earfull from me and got reported to the police, dont think anything happend though, cos as a result of my avouding action there was no accident.

what about the "atleast i tried to go round the corner" badge?

As much as i often feel Police are out to get motorcylists, its still a shame to see bikes on their side!

i pick up my FZ6 tomorrow, its got the givi rack and getting the top box on it. as for panniers, i have soft lugguge cos its so much cheaper being able to put them on several different bikes, only adjusting the straps!

haha, that sounds like a plan, sounds fabby with the baffles out, not as loud and grunty and the SV650, but atleast i wont get pulled over! thankss actually buzzing to get her, its going to be a long day friday waiting to finish work before i can pick her up!

i would get in impact driver and try that first, or if you can get a hold of the head, get mini mole grips and try removing the screw using that. i messed up a few and after using the impact driver had to replace them, but now they screw in/out like a treat
