  1. I drive a company van twice a week and this is Tax'd, mot'd and insured by them not me, the only thing i do to it is fill it up with diesel and heavy crap that needs repairs. Sounds to me that your boys firm is trying to cut their over heads and getting the lads to pay for their vehicles. He needs to be careful as DDT said, if they are this crafty with getting him to insure it or saying they will pay for it then it wouldn't supprise me if they pass the buck with out informing your son. Has he tried any other insurance companies? or is that £1326 the cheapest quote? As for his boss telling he to keep his head down, id definatly do that...........just id be looking fo a new job.
  2. COPPER WIRE After having dug to a depth of 10 feet in 2011, French scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 200 years and came to the conclusion that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 150 years ago. Not to be outdone by the French, in the weeks that followed, American archaeologists dug to a depth of 20 feet before finding traces of copper wire. Shortly afterwards, they published an article in the New York Times saying : "American archaeologists, having found traces of 250-year-old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network 50 years earlier than the French." A few weeks later, The British Archaeological Society of Northern England reported the following: "After digging down to a depth of 33 feet in the Jarrow area of Tyne and Wear in 2013, Charlie Hardcastle, a self-taught amateur archaeologist, reported that he had found absolutely bugger all. Charlie has therefore concluded that 250 years ago, Britain had already gone wireless." Makes you proud to be British.

Ive not cut the stock ones but bought a set of long shot pipes off a guy on Ebay and cut them down, the front pipe (the slip on one) has a 1" pipe inside that goes from the Cylinder head right through which ive cut out so my pipes are 2" wide all the way through and she hasn't missed a beat and sounds um......loud. 15. I was forced into my desk job after living the dream in the Army, then i was shoved infront of a PC at a light wood vinal desk drinking coffee from 0630-1630 monday to saturday just to pay the fat cats, i lothe my job and would change to some thing better if i could afford it but sadly the bill have to be paid. you have a job that (as you can see) most folk would give a limb for, but un-less this new job has a a good bullshit to pay ratio stick with what you got. most desk jobs involve being anal raped with the blunt bit of a biro pen with no chance of a reach around. Good luck with the interview but personally id stick with the job you love, yes money is great but you cant spend it in the grave.

  21. I love the ones where they realise they left it too late for the brakes so resort to plan B and use their feet to try and slow down
  22. right so you want to slap on a set of "universal" end pipe yes? not but the full set of proper after market ones? If you are going down the cut the pipes and slip on route your best bet is to get a sleeve made up and make sure you can still fit the heat sheld so it looks the same. as for the buying of after market ones there is no cutting etc involved just un bolt the old and bolt on the new.
