  9. A warm shed,,,, a seat,,,,,a mini fridge for beers........... These are very important so that youre relaxed while you think of what's to be done next OR as you plan ahead to the end result I wish i had these
  10. It runs Drewp's,,, i made sure of that before i started doing anything. I know i have work to do on the carb and a bit on the gearbox but other than that i didnt check much else. The piston looks clean as a whistle,, no blow-by or scoring,,, the rings arent stuck either, nor is there any carbon buildup on crown of piston. This was from looking up the exhaust port. I really dout the bike has done much work. I had it running and she's a wee flyer .

  15. Why a scooter Graham ? Is it for commuting on. I had a spin on a 400cc scooter ( up in Scotland,,,,eh Blackhat ) it was a deadly yoke, plenty power and good fun,,,, only down side for me was it didnt feel to safe on the corners (scary), think its the small wheels that make it that way ! Loads of storage on them too !
  16. So there ya have it Kev,,,,, carlube will be sound in ya bike,,,,,, but mix the stuff. Or at least shake the bike about side to side before hitting the throttle
  17. Because yellow mellow is at stake, i am not sure on the premix situation. The oil itself though, i trust. Off the top of my head i think its grand for premixing BUT you better check with someone more informed. Ps. you should really mix your fuel and oil in a drum and give it a good shake, then put into bike,,,,,they way you do it- - - - - i wonder does it get mixed propperly.... now come on,,,,tell me off for my last comment !
  18. Hey Rayzor,,,, dont worry,,,the crack is just in the plaster. I had a load of blocks sitting on the street and with the weight the street sank, unfornatually it pulled the plaster with it. Looks worse than it is. Another wee job for me to fix in the summer,,,,,, Ooooo lucky me !! Hey there Vic,,,,, bring it on,, let me know when your plannin the trip and i could tag-along for some of it. Twill be good ta meet ya.

  22. I've realised Kev,,that the pics were turning out crap because i was going too close with my phone. Tis better to stay back a bit. Small parts have to get close. The light is another factor,,,,,,,,,,, oooooooo im full of excuses !
