My step dad has fairline targa for sale, as apparantly we never use it enough and it costs too much to keep :cry: Hes looking to buy a motorhome wahoo not :evil: I think it costs about £6000 a year just to keep it in the water and brighton :shock:

Aghhh nooooooooooo just put the advert in MCN, cost me £40!!! for one week. They are a scam the prices from £24 for a photo add is for 12 words, and out of that you have to have the make and model, and your phone number so you get a lot of words not :evil: Anyway posted a link to www.yamahaclub.com/yzf which links back to the forum, so hopefully if i dont sell my bike at least there will be a few more members 8) The annoying thing is the add doesnt go in this week, goes in on the 16th which means i have EXACTLY 2 weeks to sell the bike :shock:

Everything ive ever heard and read about the divvy suggests changing the fork oil so why the hell did yamaha choose it :shock:

I think you would have to seriously mod the backend of the frame. If you can get an r1 frame you could cut the back off and tig it to the yzf frame. And another thing is there isnt room for the exhaust to come up between the engine and frame like on the r1. so you might as well keep the r1 frame in one piece and try to make a yzf conversion. :roll: BUT in defence i believe anything is possible, but it might not be worth the while due to a hell of amount of time needed, and a major fat wallet :shock:

Yeah i know what your saying, ive obviously been going at crazy speeds i shouldnt, but there are places where you can be stupid without killing anyone else. I wouldnt dream of doing excess of 100mph in a 40. Like i say there is a time and a place for speeding. We all speed as that is part of having a bike

Well i havent been out on my bike :cry: as i had to go to church :shock: And no religion is not me at all, however i was a godparent at my sisters christening today. Yep there is a 23 year gap between us :shock: At least i wil be able to perv over her friends when shes older :twisted:

If the plastics look extraordinary good, check out for any tale tale hints that the bike has been raced, look out for any marks on the frame etc. Make sure the wheels are inline, check for general damage clues i suppose is the main thing

Just have to say my friends sister and her mates died in her car when a bike hit her a few years ago. She pulled out of a junction in the path of oncoming bikes as she didnt see them. The bikes were thought to be travelling at around 150mph according to the police report. The first bike which hit, cut the car in half and exploded. His sister was not found so to speak, the police explained the speed of the bike and the such small surface area basically made it a missile which exploded on collision. The second rider missed the car but come off, they found the other rided seriously injured in a hedge the next day as they didnt realise there were two bikes involved. Its riders like this who make us bike riders get the abuse and bad names :evil:
