  4. Seems weird that there are companies that do the r7 conversion for the r1 and r6, for reasonable amount of money, but no similar alternatives for the YZF. I think the only differences between the R and the SP, are that the SP came with a closer cut gearbox, klein flatside carbs and single seat :roll:
  5. HI Mate, nice. I heard that the R7 fairings are pretty straightforward to fit, just need to make new brackets to hold the cone and instruments on. Do you know what sort of work is involved in fitting the R1 fairings? And what work is required to fit the R6 back? I would love the R1 back on my bike! 8) Let us know how you get on with the conversion :wink:

    Nice bike stew, dont seem to be too many out there in good condition. I think its just that they are such an underestimated bike :shock:

    Just got a check from the insurers for £2325!!! :evil: :evil: :evil: I cant explain the condition of my bike, not a chip or scratch anywhere, and it has had over £4k spent on it!!! More money now in bleeding solictiors! :evil:

    At bl :shock: dy last! My bike is in thousands of bits!!! Wahoo Just need to sand the frame down and get it relaquered and hey presto i can start having fun putting it back together!

    Well i suppose im to start, i have a 94 YZF-750R, The main parts are of course a rear Ohlins shock, steering damper, new footstays, exhaust, backend conversion, and custom dream machine paint work, and a lot of polishing. I know its a bit old school now, as it is bloody heavy compared to the new bikes! What have you got?
