1977 V75a
Hi Marky I've just had it apart today funnily enough. Pump is there but missing the gear, pin and clip which I have now ordered. The pump looks like new, was planning on spinning it up with a drill to see if it pumps ok but didn't get around to it yet. I see from your profile you have a number of these bikes, where are you from? Can't get the bike to go above 38mph (my old fizzy did 44 but I was slimmer then!) Getting the gear together to have it looked at by a forum member (thanks man....). I got chatting to a lad in the Bahamas who ported, bored, carb'd, expansions and electronic ignition mods (ended up buggering the swingarm!) Do you have any recommendations for improvement, any other parts? Will let you know how I get on with the pump, appreciate the offer. Ally

Sick to the core
I would like to see if there attitude changed if we were attacked, who they gonna run too? Who has to go in country to bail out the tourists and workers of foreign lands when it goes tits up? Ironic that the soldiers of this world suffered terribly to give these wankers the freedom of speech they can exercise. If there are any soldiers/sailors/airmen reading this: there's a lot of us that do appreciate what you've done and also what is has cost you, I'm sure that there are a lot of you too who didn't agree with the task but them's the rules. Maybe all the do gooding liberals should shut the feck up, stop moaning to the soldiers who do not have this freedom and piss off and help those they complain are affected. Respect!

jokes
A teacher asks her class, "If there are 5 birds sitting on a fence and you shoot one of them, how many will be left?" She calls on little TONY. He replies, "None, they will all fly away with the first gunshot." The teacher replies, "The correct answer is 4, but I like your thinking." Then little TONY says, "I have a question for YOU. There are 3 women sitting on a bench having ice cream: One is delicately licking the sides of the triple scoop of ice cream The second is gobbling down the top and sucking the cone. The third is biting off the top of the ice cream. Which one is married?" The teacher, blushing a great deal, replied, "Well, I suppose the one that's gobbled down the top and sucked the cone." To which Little TONY replied, "The correct answer is 'the one with the wedding ring on," but I like your thinking."

dt175mx exhaust
Hey dude There is a fresco pattern in chrome on the bay (310114182796) plus nos available from the states. I've guessed at part number 3J0-14610-00 £150 quid plus shipping though, run parts number through auntie google, nw vintage and boats tend to have everything if you can cope with new prices good luck ps might be worth a dealer search, used to work car parts years ago, if the bloke can be arsed it can be found if it's no longer available, just takes a bit of effort. regards Ally

89 FZR Exup not sparking - PLEASE HELP
Hiya I had a similar problem with a faulty kill switch. It was diagnosed by a Yammy shop and they told me it was quite common. You might want to check the side stand switch also. Hope it helps Ally

fzr 1000 exup misfire
Hi Mike I'm not sure this will be of help but will try. I've had a Genesis and two EXUP's in the past. 2 of the 3 had mysterious misfires. One was caused by moisture in the plug caps, can't tell you why but it was worse at lower revs. The second was caused the kill switch although this wasn't (engine) speed related. What plugs are you running, had an TS (I'm sorry Yamaha) that would not run on anything but NGK. I would check the plugs, an old trick is too pinch the HT lead, you can feel the spark, raise the revs and feel the difference, if it pulses more lower down it's having trouble firing, could be it's not getting hot enough to clean the plug? Hope this helps Ally
