don't use the haynes manual for the setting, its 26mm tried 32mm and ran crap,took ages to get back to the 26mm setting as i thought it wrong. german website confirmed this and I've posted this before on this forum

that will be a different grade stainless. the more chrome content the harder/brittle/non rusting it will be!
