tin can is fine, nice and tight out of all the washers I own. not one is the right size
I've now changed my mind, If i have a washer in there, it could move when I change the wheel or something. I think I will make a new spacer 1mm longer. thanks for the offer

don't drill, weld through a nut and build it out, then you can undo it no problem.
its all i ever do for snapped exhaust studs, works every time. IN fact it takes longer to get the welder out, than the job

....or it could be a vacuum tap and it has come off the manifold intake or on the tap itself.
could also be that the diaphram has gone preventing operation in that mode
I have two, a small range one which is between 7.5nm to 25nm and a cheaper larger one 10ftlbs to 80ftlbs as with the larger numbers you can feel if you go too far! or in the case of axles, run out of energy
Thanks Pat, I know about the international number standard its how I buy my bearings now, its much cheaper. I even buy oil seals that way too.
6201 is the the bearing number 12mm bore, 8mm depth and 32mm OD the next size up is 37mm OD
