tin can is fine, nice and tight out of all the washers I own. not one is the right size I've now changed my mind, If i have a washer in there, it could move when I change the wheel or something. I think I will make a new spacer 1mm longer. thanks for the offer

no such luck, but that's the way with abused 'peds. Always throw these little things at you and will soon be forgotten when something else crops up.

don't drill, weld through a nut and build it out, then you can undo it no problem. its all i ever do for snapped exhaust studs, works every time. IN fact it takes longer to get the welder out, than the job

Bike only runs when fuel tap is in reserve position
drewpy replied to tim1982's topic in Yamaha Workshop
....or it could be a vacuum tap and it has come off the manifold intake or on the tap itself. could also be that the diaphram has gone preventing operation in that mode -
not enough meat to skim it. Its only about 3 - 4mm thick. they build these things light

I have two, a small range one which is between 7.5nm to 25nm and a cheaper larger one 10ftlbs to 80ftlbs as with the larger numbers you can feel if you go too far! or in the case of axles, run out of energy
