MOT result - advisory items
handlebar mount bushes need tightening or renewing if worn head bearings need replacing soon, as there is a notch developing which the ball races will lock in when steering ( get it done asap) will be taken into account if you crash/have an accident for the insurance not to pay 100% out!

Which Helmet? From someone out of the saddle for 20 years
you need to try them on like dirty says and especially whilst riding the bike as they can be noisy and fatigue/noise ruins a bike ride.

my first low speed crash
sorry to hear that, I witnessed 2 car crashes this morning, both into traffic lights! can you bounce the forks and they return ok? try loosening the stantions one at a time and twisting them round, if it goes tight, they are bent. you can get them straightened, but they would have to be taken off the bike, might be cheaper to buy front forks!

rusty spokes
wrong thing to do! the plating is a sacrificial coating designed to stop the integrity of the spokes being compromised. I'd say paint is your short term option. get stainless spokes or have them replated for a permenant solution

plenty of grumbles in this forum Dirty I got a Khaler bridge from USA, hopefully it will bypass the customs bit. I think they will be too busy this time of year to consider a small package (that's what OG told me )

Help needed with identifying and rectifying the problem
maybe put a ring around the seal and use rtv and tap into the case using 4mm set screws!
