I think they would be the same, most of the xs range from the same era used yam parts bins. usually if it looks the same, it is. -

crap show last year. Michael Dunlop was there and no-one knew him. I'm going to the event city one in March -
that's a latre one, a "custom" bike. I do like the xs650 (prefer the XS1 version with drum brake meself)

depends, does he like riding or fixing? the xs will be a great bike but will need fettling depending on condition etc the virago's will be more dependable (depending on condition) boils down to back lane scratching or cruising the highway/posing

anyone have an English wheel in the Manchester area? I have a stainless front guard which has had rear ended something and just needs the bumps flattening out!

I got mine from motoward, you need the correct type. Part # starts off with 1L9-11416- then 00 blue, 10 black, 20 brown and 30 Green.

I've used western rebores on Oldham road a few years ago. Not sure they are still there but loads of experience as its a 2nd generation owner.

I love building bikes, I mentor a young rock group for the past 3 years. enjoy scouting and the outdoors done the karate thing (shotoryu based in Plymouth), done classic car thing oh and I do amdram too. no time for anything else
