  3. parked me cx500 down a hill onto a wall and used the wall to stop the bike rolling forward (thought that was great thinking there) went to leave and could I push that beast backwards up a hill? took about1/2 hour and a crowd was gathering, mostly local youths with nothing better to do.

  9. its the lower stem like I said before! not the frame just drive the seal off, freeze the stem and warm the lower cup and drive it on with a piece of water pipe

    anoher shed is on my shopping list (a very long list) the Gilera is taking up residence in the newest one. the other has just funghi and ivy holding it together.

  13. what a waste of time the NW200 was this year I started riding open face and although the bugs do sting a bit, you soon get used to it, now rain, that bloody hurts till your face goes numb

I've stripped the paint off and had to file a bit more to open the gap in order for it to grip the shaft properly. will prob repaint it as the chrome has been ground off, sorted I think. those handlebars are original tomaselli ones and I've kept the patina on them too Just awaiting Bob Wright to find me a 5th Gear selector fork so I can finish the bottom end. I matched up the ports yesterday to the cases and they were about 1mm out which is a lot for a two stroke. I'm leaving the ports alone as they are the 6.2hp ones BTW those are not the rear shocks, just mock up ones
  15. looks a good project. that's all consumable parts so nothing really major as such (just expensive)
  16. in the UK if we have a legit receipt its ours, just need to send off to DVLA to change registration
