I have recently changed an engine from a yba 125 to a ybr engine,, its fits perfect apart from the electrics from the engine to the cdi unit,, there are 5 the wires coming from the engine,, but the cdi unit from the bike has 8 wires,, would it be as simple as changing the cdi unit for one from a ybr ???

does anyone know if the engine mounts on a sr 125 or a ybr 125 are the same as the yba 125 engine

I've got a YBA 125 Enticer,, the engine rattles and i cant find out what it is, the cam chain is fine. Anyway i've been looking for another engine and have come across a site that says the YBR 125 engine is the same as the one used in my bike,, is this true??. If so, are the mounts in the same place?? and how much can i get one for. Mine is an 03 so would i have to go for one that is nearer my bikes age or will they all fit. Cheers Terry

Hi My 125 sounds like the cam chain is rattling,, i was told they should self adjust,, this doesent sound right to me,, i thought the stem sticking out the back of the cylinder where it meets the engine was to adjust it,, if so how do i do it ??

Hi Am in desperate need of some information regarding the Yamaha Enticer 125cc..... I have recently bought the bike with the intention of fixing it up as a bike to learn on,,, but i have found out the bike was made in India, and no one in the UK can give me any advice on parts, as most have never even heard of it. The bike has suffered some front end damage and new forks and wheel are needed...... Question..... Is there another bike that has the same fork measurements... My yolk size is 30mm hole and 185mm centres, the yolk stem is also 30mm. It may be possible to buy a complete front end from another bike if the stem is the same size,, i was told the virago xv 125 may be the same,, is this true????? Any info however small may be of some use to me Cheers Terry
