:o I HAVE A 1979 YAMAHA 1100 XS

THE FIRST AND ONLY BIKE THATS PULLING

309 HORSE POWER THE LARGEST HP ENGINE YAMAHA EVER MADE.

THE 4 PISTONS ARE BIGGER THAN 350 CHEVY 4 BOLT MAIN.

I NEED TO FEEL THE POWER BETWEEN MY LEGS AGAIN!

I replaced the wiring harness.

I replaced the Ignition Switch.

I replaced the Coils.

Its not the timing.

I also checked the wipe out shut down switch.

CAN ANYONE GIVE ME SOME FEED BACK ON THIS PROBLEM?(KNOWLEDGE)

Thank you!

Alright lets not be silly, not 390 hp. Assuming cranking over, check power to coils, then check spark. Wires , plugs or poor connections check. Spark ok check fuel is wetting plugs but not flooding. This bike uses vacumn advance and petcock. check both work. Then tedious right wire right place. patience.

309Hp from a 1979 1100 standard tune, dont think so, one of my mates has turbo'ed a fireblade and that put's out 300Hp

Try 75hp @ 8000rpm as here: http://www.xs11.com/specifications/f-spec1.shtml

If it was the largest Hp Yamaha ever made why dont they still make it!!!!!
