Hi all,

I have a FZR750 Genesis on an 87 plate. Im finding it difficult to ride now with a back injury but dont want to part with my baby.

Does anyone know the best way to raise the bars to a more upright rideing position and also where I can source a kit including any pipes and cables that will have to be extended.

Cheers

Ok Ive found a company that do the full kit including all pipes cables etc.

But I need some help? Does anyone know if the yoke on an 87 FZR750 is the same as any of the below:

FZ750 87

FZR1000 87

Hope you can help Cheers

Hi, don`t know if you`ve already checked these but Demon tweeks sell custom kits including the yoke with bars, etc. Also another company I`ve found very good are www.intobikes.co.uk but not sure if they stock kits like so but I would expect them to due to the size of there website (similar setup to demon tweeks). As for your question on the yoke I will check in my haynes manual and get back to you later but I doubt very much, if anything I would expect that 750 yoke to be the same as the exup 1000 not the earlier bike that you have which issimilar to 1000cc early model (87 and 88) 1989 bikes changed for exups with different frames, swinging arms, shockers etc. I`m not 100% percent sure what hat what forks on though because some later exup 1000`s and 750 models had USD`s, but like I say I will check.
