Insured on vin no. Got horn and rear reflector. Speedo can be connected or garmin strapped to handle bars. No reg plate. Or should i put 2k4 vin no on a plate made up. Dying to know.

Regards Simon

If you have no registration plate then I would say no but if in doubt call your local Police service Traffic division they should be able to help. Just don't tell them the right date cos they will say YES then nick you as you leave the house !!! :biglaugha:

If you've booked the MOT and can/could prove it, you should be ok providing you have all relevant paperwork.

On a slightly different note, we had a car stolen, which was recovered and taken to a police compound. When we collected it a week later there were no registration plates on it and I asked if we were ok driving it to the nearest dealer and they said yes.

Ask big kev [ up yours] hes the Rimming expert on her,,, :babyha:

Yes if insured on the VIN and pre booked and riden straight there and back.

I put it in the van for the retest (footpegs missing and rear tyre on wrong way round). However got it home and a quick first time ever ride round suburbia with mot/ins in pocket. Passed my full A licence just over a week ago. Felt good!
