Brian Posted March 14, 2006 Share Posted March 14, 2006 I have an R1 1998 model, my oil light keeps coming on and off when I am riding it, but there is plenty oil in it....has anyone else experienced this and do you know what the problem could be...? fazer1000 Posted March 19, 2006 Share Posted March 19, 2006 its a know issue with this engine as the oil light is not a pressure switch but a level switch so when cornering and sometimes under heavey braking the switch sensor has no oil over it witch sets the light to go on Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
