GOLF Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Hi , made a search but cannot find the recommended tyre pressures . I also require the torque settings for the two nuts on the rear axle . If anybody can assist , I would be most grateful.
blackhat250 Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 Rear spindle nut - 80 ib -ft, tyre - 25/30 lb ...
Moderator drewpy Posted April 24, 2014 Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 if your on bt45's i'd go 33 front and 36 rear, big difference in handling.
Moderator DirtyDT Posted April 24, 2014 Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 I would recommend the higher tyre pressures too.
Moderator Cynic Posted April 24, 2014 Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 I have 45's on my TDR and they feel much better with the slightly higher pressures.
Moderator mervin Posted April 24, 2014 Moderator Posted April 24, 2014 definetly go higher pressures on modern rubber , the original 23/29 psi in modern tyres will make it handle like a shoping market trolley
