Had a nice ride into work this morning, nice and crisp with only a few villeges stuck in fog but was very nice to hit a warm thermal or two. I just really need to get a bit more confident in corners, nt after speed just don't want to be dreading seeing water mid corner and think that im coming off :biglaugha:

Same cycle ride today, armed with new batteries in the camera.

so after the aqueduct in Marple there follows a series of locks in quick sucession...16 of them altogether, thats quite a difference in water levels doncha think?

Managed to get to BP and back before cutting the lawn, hedges and repairing the fence. Then got out to the fun fair with the family. Fingers crossed for more dry sunny days to come!

So far due to work and the wife letting me out to pay i've managed to clock up a good 185 miles on Betty so far no where near good enough. I managed to get out on her yesterday to meet up with a good mate of mine who has an old Kwak 750 chopper which we managed to have a little ride out on till he had to bugger off to do some more CBT's

Next time im out i'll try and grab some piccies, off down the Weymouth bike night in July if anyone else fancies a meet?

I reckon if I spend a couple of hours sorting out a fallen plum tree in the garden, then cut the lawn and offer the wife a massage I'll be allowed out to play under this sky today!!!

Just got back from a day at haynes motor museum where they had a big display of bike road safety and giving out small free advanced riding lessons on a paddock. Looks like my little girl will be getting a bike soon too haha

Well as we all knew Saturday night a bunch of poofs where running about after a football claiming to be worth millions of pounds and needing magic water to fix a broken leg with the end result being one poxy goal (insert sarcastic clap)

So me and the boys got the bikes out and buggered off out to find the only pub that didn't have it on TV, roads where dead and it was bliss! couple of drag races to which my mate Doc won as he has a Stock Triumph speed master with me a close but loud second.

Here are the bikes,

Kawasaki 750 kicker with ridgid frame, not bad for 35 years old
