Moderator Cynic Posted August 28, 2014 Moderator Posted August 28, 2014 Shit. Makes the tt look tame.
Tommy xs Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 just shows you don't need a lot of power to kill yourself looks fun though
bippo Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Crazy. I'll stick to plodding about like a grandma... 2
Noise Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Holy feck! Anyone else just been screaming at their PC screen like they where at a real race? No!? Just me then 1
finnerz89 Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Crazy. I'll stick to plodding about like a grandma... I've found its impossible to plod on a street triple!
Moderator Cynic Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 I've found its impossible to plod on a street triple! Meh. Easy. Try pootling about on a 2t. Nothing......nothing......waaaaaaaaaaaah 1
Moderator DirtyDT Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 Maybe we need to get some photos next weekend of the waaaaaah faces of riders when they hit the powerband? 1

AndrewElvisFan Posted August 29, 2014 Posted August 29, 2014 Maybe we need to get some photos next weekend of the waaaaaah faces of riders when they hit the powerband? Went to Thorpe Park this week courtesy of Tesco Clubcard - didn't get the pic but the one of me accelerating from 0-80 in 1.8 secs on 'Stealth' was interesting to say the least. Not sure I'd be able to recreate it at Squires though! 2
Moderator Cynic Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 Maybe we need to get some photos next weekend of the waaaaaah faces of riders when they hit the powerband? You stepping foreward with your 400 then. Although anything that is as addictive as 6000rpm on a 2t is generally illegal. 1

It doesn't bother me. I thought you wanted to give it a go anyway - assuming I get it back together on Sunday, the 4 days of shakedown testing doesn't flag up anything too scary and the pistons and rings don't disintegrate.
Moderator Cynic Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 Def. Always wanted to try one. Hah define scary. Considering the state of the ts last year it would have to be pretty poor not to make the trip.
Moderator DirtyDT Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 Cheeky bas........! The TS was a lot worse the year before that! Even I didn't think is was going to make it but "who dares wins Rodney" what's the worst that could happen?
Moderator Cynic Posted August 29, 2014 Moderator Posted August 29, 2014 Lol yeah year before sorry. Just get the carbs balanced up nice and she will be fine. I find taking the inlet rubbers off and setting them by eye is best.

Carb balancing part of Sundays jobs to do. If I get enough time, I might try and get the brakes working before I go to Squires on it. 1
