mike1949
I have been detailed to go with the wife tomorrow to the in-laws. I can choose the music to listen to on the way up, I'm looking for suggestions. I've got a choice of the following, what would you recommend? Thin Lizzy (whiskey in the jar) Free (alright now) Manfred Man Boney M Mamas & Papas Bay City Rollers Jim Morrison (Doors) Supertramp Hot Chocolate Searchers The Kinks Rolling Stones Jimi Hendrix Hermans hermits

At least that way you get an element of the unexpected. (to your list you could add the Stone roses, the Smiths, Talking Heads, 10cc, Small Faces, Spencer Davis, Traffic, Cream, The Shads, The Fortunes, The Merseybeats et al]. Enjoy your journey.
