whats the white looking wire on the relay? the diagram has it as a brown one

that wire is sort of a light brown its just glare from the flash. i think it goes into the cdi

well have you got a multimeter, there should be 12v at the Br wire when the ignition key is in ON posn

i used a test light earlier and double checked it there now theres definately power to all 3 small wires. i pressed the start button and theres still no power at the startermotor terminal.
