fuel keeps leaking out of the overflows for my mukuni carbs on my 76 xs500. just replaced the float needles and seats and noticed the floats were filled with fuel. tried resoldering them, but fuel still flows out of the overflows. does anyone know where i can get new floats for these carbs? are there other / newer floats that fit / interchange with the stock ones? any help on this would be appreciated. maybe even just the correct part number.

you'll be lucky to find one imo. soldering is your best bet, how come it didnt work then?

I would contact them first to see if they are back order but, apart from a couple of very rare parts, they have always delivered.

you might have the same floats as the xs400, 650, 750 and 1100 and there's still NOS stuff on eBay.

is you post a picture with measurements i can let you know if they fit.

otherwise try sirrus conic in Canada, which looking at their needles looks as your in luck
