neversaydie Posted July 17, 2012 Posted July 17, 2012 Shame. In Rock was the first LP I ever bought (1970), followed by every other one they released in the 70s, and subsequently hundreds of others. Spent the seventies and early eighties at Town Halls/University halls/clubs/pubs/venues the length of the country watching bands, some famous and some not so. Proper musicians all who could write too, none of this miming to soundtracks shite, and chatting after the gig in the dressing rooms. Still got all the vinyl, and deaf as a post. Great, great fun, wonderful times, and that guy and his mates were the catalyst.
