perthxspro
Hi Guys and Gals , nice to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who love to be on two wheels. I purchased my 1980 XS250 Special over 15 years ago, rode it home , parked it and haven’t started or ridden it since. Long story but nice to be in a position now where I can spend some time and money to get her back and running (I hope) Will post a couple of photos in the next few days along with trying to source tyres, battery etc. I’m here to share what I know (shouldn’t take long ) and pick some brains too. Nice to be on board. Cheers PJ

jimmy
Alright mate, welcome to the forum. If you need any advice on the xs, I would say BURN IT NOW, failure to do so will result in pain, suffering and heartache as well as ridicule from your mates, at least that was my experience back in 1981. perthxspro
I'll keep those things in mind Jimmy, cheers Given that yours was near new in 1981 it doesn't sound too good though!
