rich_r Posted June 27, 2012 Share Posted June 27, 2012 Hi I'm new to this forum, so firstly hello! Does anyone work for Yamaha or know one who can run a VIN check for me? I need to obtain a file/PDF or something with details of the bike (VIN/engine number) from a reputable source. Yahama UK are so slow and hardly respond to my emails and my local dealer is a grumpy bugger!. It's a racebike (R6) and it was never registered. Beer tokens can be provided. I contacted Yamaha UK with the engine and frame number and they sent me a letter stating the year of manufacture and it was sold in Europe.
