hello everyone, my names jack, id just like to know if anyone might know what the problem is with me clutch, i dismantled my whole bike so i could respray the frame and what knot, after i rebuilt the whole thing, everything seems to be working fine except for the clutch. it wont engage which means i cant get any gears, it just stalles every time and jurks forward, you know, the usual stuff. All of the plates are fine and free and i can see the clutch lever and arm moving on the left side of the engine but the rod doesnt seem to be, could anyone help me out a little? thanks to any advice you may give me also the bike had been standing a little while when i was respraying it... thanks

Hi, im not too sure if there should be a ball-bearing in front of the push rod or not, i think there should be, maybe when you were dismantling the clutch it might have popped out. If you have a haynes manual for the bike then it might be worth checking out just in case there is.

This may be way off... but if the ball bearing MrDadKDX mentioned is missing wouldn't the clutch plates be stuck together (engaged) and not disengage? Just a thought. ??
