burkejt1 Posted July 13, 2011 Share Posted July 13, 2011 Hello everyone, I'm not getting a spark on my sr250 with a new coil, spark plug, and wire harness, I have been told that it is probably due to either a faulty CDI/TCI unit or pick-up coil. I was wondering if anyone could guide me through checking which it is, I know you can't really test the CDI unit so it would be checking to make sure the pick-up coil is fine before I purchase a new (and expensive) CDI unit. I'm not exactly sure how I go about checking the pick-up coil properly so if anyone could help me figure out how to do so that'd be great... so far this bike has been nothing but problems for me and I'd love to get it finally up and reliably running Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
