danzley0 Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 i have acquired a intruder 125 and have found some problems... the solenoid is gone which i have ordered there is a loose connection in a wire from the ignition barrel also the bike will start when i bypass the solenoid but only with the choke on it wont run even when warmed up (tick over or accelerated) i see this problem as the carbs but i dont know how to regulate the mixture anyone have any advice? thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Moderator Airhead Posted July 7, 2011 Moderator Share Posted July 7, 2011 Dan I assume you are asking for advice about the 'only runs with choke'...this is often a blocked pilot jet, strip and clean the carb thoroughly paying particular attention to this jet. danzley0 Posted July 17, 2011 Author Share Posted July 17, 2011 ok carbs done but no cigar... air filters are off loud knocking in front cylinder as soon as i accelerate it misfires then cuts out but will accelerate upto about 3000 rpm when the choke is slightly on any ideas? im at the end of my knowledge Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
