johnsnownw
2005 Kawasaki Ninja 500R, bought brand new. I don't miss it. First bike I owned, not the first I rode. First bike I rode was a kid's dirt-bike that my best friend had. His father had a couple bikes including an Indian. Next came a 70's Honda that one of my friends had, then an old Suzuki. oldtimer
started of in 1962 with a BSA bantam then on to a franny barnet 175 then passed my test an got a bonnieville then in 1965 got a second bike a royal enfield continental gt a beautiful looking bike with a fibreglass tank a cafe racer style wrote it off when i had a front tyre blow at 90 and ended up in a field broken collar bone and pride dented. carried on with the bonnie till the japanese invasion and had loads of bikes from the dt400,susuki 380GT but mostly yamahas to many to remember but the last two yamahas were my baby dragstar and my old fz 600 which i still have and now a triumph TT600 to soon to comment on it but it drinks petrol 30mpg the way i ride it. Guest CardBoardDave
Before i moved up here I went to buy a bike to do my cbt on ten years ago from a proper bike shop in brum and fell in love with a black cbx fe sat out side. It was the square lights that did it plus i could not touch the floor on the klr and left £550 lighter and a 750 between me legs. Scary riding that home i can tell you but it sounded great. Couple of ar50s h100 blue rxs and a drab can am that was un stopable. And my current bike tdr

DTGordo
XL250SA when i was 17 that I thought I could ride through any river, up any hill and pretty well smashed it to bits and then sold it. Short break with a car. XL250SB after my car was stolen. I looked after this one and was a bit older and more sensible. Sold the bike when I got another car and then sold the car and moved to Sydney. Back in Canberra and a mates brother sold me an old DR400 for not much. A real basher but it just went and went. Sold that and then pretty much rode a push bike everywhere for 5 years or so. Then got a VW type 3 station wagon which I reckon is the best car I've ever had. Sold the car and went to Central America, the US and Europe, coming home after about a year. Back to cycling. Got married and a car. Got kids and then got the 1975 DT250 which I registered and ride it regularly. Found a 2nd bike for $200 and AG 175, maybe 1974/75. Hard to find info on that so it stays in the shed and gets the occassional start up and ride up and down the driveway. 3rd current bike is an XL250SA that a guy at work told me about and asked if I was interested. For 50 bucks, of course and the circle is complete. He also asked me if I was into shit bikes that don't cost much. Sums it up really.

weimieman
I look really sad now as I listed all my previous bikes in my profile when I was registering. Must have got giddy with nostalgia Then again, there was a couple of other that I have no exact idea of the time period on :- 1 Bsa Bantham 175 2 Bultaco Sherpa T 250 So what I was really saying in my profile was these are all the road bikes since I've been
