Have you checked all the connectors are clean, and all the fuses are contacting correctly, i have has fuses that are ok but dirty let me down in the past when working on projects, ususally after a clean up and some WD40 they start too cooperate well

Hey welcome Paul :D

Lets have some pics of your DT project, quite a few DT fans here so you will get lots of help with it i expect. You need to give detailed info though, for all we know the battery is forked, so tell us exactly. why not start with the horn and brake light just for example.

Have a read in FAQ's about posting pictures, it would be better if you learn to do them yourself,i did and now use it extensively to help with what i describe

its on a b-plate so i think its a mk2

need a few parts to get her on the road

fork seal

the front exhaust is missing the headlamp plastics are broken

the engine runs but has the wrong main jet in...it didnt come with one

its all i had to cheak it run

and the electrics

even if it means a full rewire..it would be worth it to see her on the road

everything else looks to be all there

Nice little project and most of the way there with the pics, next time copy the bottom box under your pic, its the one surrounded by ...your picture...

Now if you want to explain something in pictures ...you can ;)

The exhaust might be a hard find, have you been looking?

Can i see in one pic that you have an exhaust?

yes mate thats the back section

im needing the front one

the one that come with the bike was of a dt50 but with a 125 fitting welded to fit the exhaust thingy

which i would have thought it would strangle it

cheers
