My first bike was a YAS1, went like a rocket for a 125, brilliant bike, and what about the registration number, TTT5H! I px'd it for a brand new YR5F from Commerfords for £363 - still got that one btw. Did two Manx Grand Prix on it in Proddy trim

Well we're back took us a year, but finally got the DS7 up and running. Here is some pics and video

Took them both to the Yamaha Demo ride, the factory guys got a big kick with us pulling in with a little Yamaha History

WOW I missed this whole thread great story about the old lady and your bikes are sweet!

Both of those bikes look superb and sound wonderful - that 2 stroke burble is music to my ears!

Thanks a lot of work yes, but a labor of love. So blessed my wife shares the passion of these old bikes. We enjoy it!

Better late than never. I got my first 2 stroke in 1976.
