anyone know how to go about obtaining a cert of origin from Yamaha......the dealer lost it.

I'd buy this bike in a heartbeat, ('00 WR400F) but the owner never picked up the CO from the dealer, he (seller) gave me all the info, paperwork, reciepts, and I went to the dealer he bought it from asking for the CO and the dealer can't find it.....

the bike is useless to me without the CO, I want to reg it and ride it on the street and a few offroad parks that require plates.
