Wabba Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Honestly, I don't get this. The fuel tank is 3/4 full. If I run the bike the fuel valve "on", it bogs sometimes and generally seems to struggle to get fuel, especially at low rpms. But when I run it on "reserve", it runs well. Could it be just some crap in the valve, or can there be a more profound problem somewhere? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Moderator DirtyDT Posted June 3, 2009 Moderator Share Posted June 3, 2009 It sounds like the petrol tap. Take it off the tank and take it apart to give it a good clean. I would use carb cleaner to clean it. I would guess that the top net filter (used when on main fuel) is blocked and the lower net filter (used for reserve) is clearer. You can get a repair kit for these in case you want to referb the whole unit and the net filters are still available new. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
