  1. Greetings folks New member here so ill introduce myself, and my bike. Tony s my name, and as ya can guess from topic title, thats right im from Indiana USA The Bike is a 1979 XS 1100 Special. Got the bike just over 2 yrs ago (paid $650). After a mis diagnosis of blown head gasket (thank god for our local shop (Afterhours Autoshop). I replaced the air filter and shes runnin like a dream! Front brakes seemed to be a little sticky. decided i needed to bleed them, since it hadnt been run on the road for some time. Having the luck i do.... the master cylinder for the front went out.... fluid EVERYWHERE. next step is to attempt a rebuild. let ya know hoe that turns out...lol then new paint.... should i stay yamaha black, or would a custom color drop its value?
