  1. Sounds to me like the dealer has some damage to the front fender and changed it out. Most repair shops just buy new parts and replace them vise repainting it is cheaper. I would think if someone took the time to put ghost flames on there they more than likely did not forget to put them ont he front fender.
  2. Hi all, just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself even though I have already posted. I have a 2007 Vstar 1100 Silverado. I am in the process of making the following modifications: Cobra 2 into 1 HP Pro exhaust, hypercharger w/stinger. I plan to make a few more mods. One get rid of the computer module that governs the engine, and going to put some hard bags on it vice the leather that came stock. Anyways I live in Honolulu Hi, and ride most days rain or shine. I am in the military in my 21st year right now with plans of retirement next May. At that time I will return to the lovely state of florida. Tampa more specifically. If anyone has similar interests in modifying the 1100 fell free to let me know what you are doing. Maybe we could meld minds and come up with something cool. Jim

I got the Cobra 2 into 1 HP Pro and YES you will want to rejet anytime you go from a restricted exhaust, aka what is on the bike stock to something more open such as the cobras. Cobra sells the jet kits for each exhaust system on their site. I think about $70. And it will line you up by bike type and exhaust type, so should work well right out of the box.
  4. I have taken my 07 1100 and bought a new Cobra 2 into 1 HP Pro exhaust system with a hypercharger and stinger. Of course I am having engine rejetted for this mod. Has anyone else tried this configuration? If so how is it working out? I am curious to see if there will be a performance increase. Also I hear that the engine is governed electronically. Does anyone know of a computer replacement to remove this governor. Thanks in advance Jim
