    MT-03

I think if the ECU received enough information from sensors on the bike for it to learn a new fuel map it would do so without the need to disconnect the battery. I don't think that the ECU will have this adaptability. I can't find a Powercommander map for the Arrows but a quick look at the Powercommander fuel map for the Akropovic pipes reveals that it adds a significant amount of fuel at virtually all throttle openings between 3500 and 5000 rpm. This suggests that the PC would sort out your fuelling issue. I'm thinking of adding aftermarket pipes and PC to my MT-03. Are your Arrows road legal? Did you buy them, if so where from? Taking your thread a bit further (for my own ends) I am used to riding multi-cylinder bikes and am not happy with the fuelling when I close the throttle at high revs - the revs fall and at about 4000 downwards (if the throttle remains closed) there are significant surges which can be slightly unnerving when halfway around a tight corner. Do you think this is a characteristic of all single cylinder engines or is it unique to the MT-03? I suspect that it is a fuelling issue (rather like that of the 06 Fazer thou) but I don't know whether the PC would solve this or not. If you fit a PC, let us know the results .
