  1. Yeah cynic I got a manual I checked it and yes I did drain out of both drain holes, haven't been able to get to my bike yet, (work) :/. I'm just going to buy some different oil, and flush out the existing oil, see if that un clogs anything, and of course I did drewpy, I found this; Is the engine a dry sump unit - i.e. the oil goes into a tank rather than the engine itself? If so - the missing oil may well be in the engine sump. There could be two reasons for it being in the sump. The first is that the check valve that stops the oil flowing back into the sump isn't working, allowing the oil to drain into it when the engine's not running. The second is that the scavenge pump (that pumps the oil back to the tank) isn't working. In this latter case it would also starve the engine of oil, leading to a damaged crank. ...maybe the check valve could be jammed shut, stopping any flow to the engine. 3. Thanks slice and Tommy xs, I will flush the engine and change oil maybe to Less dense oil, I don't know if I can check the oil flow :s, the bike was sat on by a friend and held up right, and idk Tommy it did look like more watery but could be because I was on long ish ride could petrol get in there? And I guess it has carbs I don't know much lol. Thanks tho
  4. hi everyone I'm new here, my names Jason live in Bristol , England , I'm 23 and just recently passed my a2 bike test and brought myself a Yamaha mt03, did have a Honda cbf125 before so big upgrade and lovin in, then I ran into some problems, and want to get some pro adivce before spending mega amounts in bike shop, thanks guys
  5. hi guys recently brought Yamaha mt 03 2 months ago, going sweet until I change the engine oil and oil filter, I follow YouTube vids right and I over filled it, then immediately drained some back out, was good til I checked next day was below so topped it up and was spot on, then the engine was cutting out occasionally when I give it a little bit of Rev only in neutral and first, then the engine management light kept coming on and going off, it got worse gradually after 2 weeks after changed oil, i thought might be carb dirty, so put some red ex carb adhesive cleaner in, during my ride today I had to stop because engine management light was on too frequent so I checked the engine oil and I could see it at the brim, no way I over filled it that much, so my guess is maybe the engine oil resivaour pump maybe? I'm not that experienced with motorbikes yet, what's your opinion peeps? Thanks.
